World Investor Link launches The Fund Info Service in the UK

World Investor Link, a subsidiary of WIlink.com (LSE:WLK), – a leading provider of investor relations services – today launched the Fund Info Service in the United Kingdom.  Appearing in the Managed Fund Pages of the UK’s leading financial newspaper the Financial Times, and the newly launched FTfm fund management supplement, the service – indicated by the easily recognisable “club” symbol – gives the fund management industry the ability to strategically target serious investors who are researching UK fund investment opportunities.

Although launched for the first time today in the UK, the Service has been running successfully in North America for some time.  World Investor Link’s experience and research in the US market has shown that 63% of investors using the Service will invest in one of the funds researched (with an average initial investment of £6,000 per fund), proving that the Service can add significant value to fund management groups.

The Service is free to investors and is an essential tool providing easy access to information on investment funds.

Lee Godfrey, COO of World Investor Link says that the Fund Info Service is an important new tool for both the fund management industry and serious investors.  “This is a time of significant change for the fund management industry presenting both challenges and opportunities.  The Fund Info Service will provide the fund management industry with an essential tool with which to strategically target serious investors and will help investors save time when conducting their research.”

“We are pleased to be partnering with the Financial Times, the UK and Europe’s leading financial newspaper, and look forward to continuing to expand this service to the UK’s other premier financial publications and internet sites as we move forward.”
