Job Purpose
Develop IT robust and scalable solutions that will address local business needs at a global level, for projects of medium to high complexity and scope.  Work with user community to develop business requirements and translate those requirements into technical specifications that will be implemented by yourself and/or other development resources (both internal and external).

Level of contact

• Internal: internal associates at all levels and in all operating units
• External: consultants; training vendors, suppliers, outsourced IT

Main Responsibilities

1.      Team Lead

• Ability to lead small development projects through use of other development resources

2.      Communications

• Create and grow relationships between team members, and across the organization.
• Able to understand business requirements and convert those requirements into specifications and actions.

3.      Knowledge

• Understand development concepts, including OO, reuse, and Extreme Coding.
• Understand TCP/IP communication concepts and how they apply to scalable and robust web based systems.
• Knowledge of the business units themselves to allow adequate understanding and resolution of business and procedural needs.

4.      Travel

• May be 2 weeks per quarter to London, England.

1. Delivery of technical solutions on time and accurately, including all aspects required to support the global community.

Main Skill Areas

1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Development platform – SQL Server, Visual Basic.
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Web platform – IIS, ASP/ASP.net, HTML.
3. Intermediate knowledge of Java, Java script.
