CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB WITHIN THE ORGANISATION
To market and sell PrecisionIR to listed companies quoted on the London Stock Exchange and to achieve/exceed the sales targets.

TERRITORY:
Primary Exchange: Half of the listed companies on the London Stock Exchange (all markets)

SCOPE OF JOB:
Responsible for selling the following products:

  1. PrecisionIR Annual Reports Service
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In order of priority:
  1. Acquire new clients by selling the PrecisionIR portfolio of products to prospects
      a) Create and maintain a pipeline of new business by targeting prospects on the telephone – aim to speak to 10 decision makers per day.
      b) Keep accurate records of all sales activity (telephone or face-to-face meeting) using the WILink Sales Process. Track the progression of the sales process.
      c) Organise and attend prospect meetings.
      d) Attend various individual and team meetings to enhance performance and to clarify goals and priorities
      e) Implement targeting strategies for prospecting in coordination with the line manager.
  2. Maintain Investor Relations knowledge and understanding of IR practices as well as history and background of target companies – study and pass the Certificate in Investor Relations
  3. Report results to line management
